Pre Shipment Inspection (PSI)

In this type of inspections, the inspector in accordance with the specifications of the purchased goods with the specifications listed in the proforma and purchase documents requested by the buyer or at the request of the bank according to the conditions in the letter of credit to conduct a physical inspection of the goods at origin and before shipping to ensure that the goods are correct and healthy.

Scope of pre-shipment inspection includes:

Quantity:

Controlling the compliance of the quantity of the goods with the conditions stated in the proforma and documentary credit, either randomly or 100% according to the buyer's request.

Quality:

Quality control of the product visually and in terms of physical health, dimensions randomness (Random).

If a special test or analysis is requested by the buyer in the pre-invoice and other product documents, then sampling and testing will be performed in the presence of the inspector (Witness Test) and the test results will be reviewed.

Packing and Marking:

Packing and Marking: The type and material of packaging of goods according to the conditions stated in the pre-invoice and documents of purchase of goods are inspected by the inspector and marking on the packaging is controlled according to the conditions and request of the buyer.

After the inspection and compliance of the traded goods with the purchase documents, and after receiving the shipping documents from the seller of the goods, an inspection certificate will be issued.
